Cyberspace Policy Research Group
Sample webmaster survey invitation letter

Dear Webmaster,

In your job as webmaster, technical or content manager for your organization, you are helping design the government of the future.  We would like to know about your experiences, and to share with you what we have learned from other webmasters around the world.

We are a team of international scholars from several universities in the United States and in Denmark conducting a unique 5-10 minute survey focused on your special role in the world's information revolution.  The research is funded by National Science Foundation, aimed at understanding the consequences of the World Wide Web for public organizations.

Please look at our site and some of our results comparing countries and websites (http://www.cyprg.arizona.edu), and then take the short survey.

We will gladly share results with you, along with some lessons learned as the survey results come in.  By the way, we still have some Y2K questions on the survey because we would like to know about how you prepared for such an event for our historical analysis.

Please feel free to write to us in comments at the end of the survey.  We truly want to hear about your experiences.

We thank you for your kind consideration and, of course, your valuable time.

Sincerely,

Cyberspace Policy Research Group
